as some of you who have been reading my blog for a little while will know, i am a huge fan of the body shop and in the past i have had nothing negative to say about a single one of their products however when i tried their rainforest moisture hair butter i was actually really disappointed.
the product first appealed to me when i bleached my hair a number of times in the same week and my hair started to feel really dry. i liked the sound of the various oils it contained and the fact that it was silicone free, which is crucial for deep down  hair repair.
after using it as directed for a couple of weeks i'd started to notice my hair getting even dryer and decided to stop using this to see if it was responsible and found that after two washes with my usual shampoo and conditioner without the hair butter, my hair was back to being soft and shiny.
the only positive i do have to say for this product, and it really pains me to say that, is the smell. it leaves your hair smelling gorgeous.
perhaps it's just my hair type, the amount of bleach i put on it, whatever. i'd love to know your experiences with this product.
the rainforest moisture hair butter can be purchased here at eight pounds for 200ml.
