DAINTY DOLL BLUSHER IN MY GIRL.

Dainty Doll Blusher £13.50

I'm a paley and in recent weeks in particular I have decided to embrace that so it was pretty perfect timing for me when the dainty doll make up range was put on sale on the likes of Amazon, Fragrance Direct, etc.
I've always been intrigued by the collection ever since it's launch in 2008 following the programme "The Passions of Girls Aloud" however, I've never dabbled in it before now as I've found it to be a little pricey. It is only since I have actually bought some and had a play around with it that I realise the quality is perfectly in line with the original price and I would now happily pay full price for these products in the future.
The brains behind Dainty Doll products, Nicola Roberts, created the range to fill a huge gap in the market; beauty products for super pale girls, and having tried and tested a number of products from her range I am ready to start the first of many reviews featuring said products.
So in today's spotlight is a powder blusher in the shade 'My Girl'. It's a beautiful pale pink with a subtle shimmer running through. I find the powder to be very buildable. Just a small amount gives a lovely pale, almost pearlescent colour and actually appears to be more of a highlight. Once a little more product is added to the cheeks, the colour develops more into a lovely pale rose colour. It's very natural despite the shimmer which once on is barely visible and just instantly perks up pale skin.
The powder feels very soft and velvety and just really luxurious to wear. It applies really nicely and doesn't look at all powdery on the skin. I personally don't like the look a powder blush gives and have been gravitating more towards cream blushes over the past for months for this reason, but there is no such problem with this blush and the longevity is amazing too.
I really rate this particular blusher from Dainty Doll and I will definitely be adding more to my collection over the coming weeks. Money Talks and My Sunshine are first on my list and I'll be sure to keep you updated with how I get on with them.
What are your thoughts on the blushes by Dainty Doll? Have you given any of the other products from the range a go?
