i'm new to the world of oil cleansers so i've come to rely upon dhc's own description of their product;

"Water-soluble Deep Cleansing Oil contains a rich blend of skin-loving vitamin E and hydrating olive oil. It helps unclog pores by clearing impurities and make-up, leaving your face a grime-free zone. Rinses away to help leave skin fresh and clean. Olive oil and vitamin E fight free radicals"

i received this a long time ago now in a glossybox but have been scared to try it until recently. as someone who is paranoid about having the occasional shiny nose or whatever, the thought of putting oil onto my face was terrifying. however after trying a new make up product that just wouldn't budge with my usual cleanser there was  nowhere else to turn and since then i haven't looked back.
you basically get a small amount in your palms, and rub it onto your dry face. it appears to break downs and dissolve make up within seconds. once eucyou've rubbed it in, you just rinse it off and your face is left completely make up free. it doesn't feel at all oily, just fresh and clean and there's a slight minty/eucalyptus smell, although that may just be me as there isn't any in the ingredients.
again, due to it being an oil, i was worried about it causing a break out but there was no such problem, infact i think it's actually helped to clear up my skin. it's really gentle and is suitable for all skin types.
you can purchase the cleanser direct from dhc and if you want to test it out they sell a 30ml version for £4.50. if like me you really like it, you can go all out and pick up the 200ml version which is currently at a sale price of £18.00, here.
what are your thoughts on oil cleansers? have you tried this offering from dhc?
speak soon xoxo
